4/2011 Phase I Clinical Trials Successfully Completed with a Great 12 Month Follow-Up
Results of a follow up study, completed in April 2011, show that all patients who underwent open surgical procedures using the Orbix™ Breast Lifting Kit, had very stable results 12 months postoperatively, without any device related problems and no recurrence of ptosis. This result is very difficult to obtain with even simple breast reduction procedures. The patients were extremely happy with the results, and noted a remarkably better quality of life. They all said that they would recommend surgery to all their friends, and would do it over again themselves.
The second phase of clinical trials shall include 30 minimally invasive operations that will be conducted at multiple sites in Europe.
